Enhanced Imaging with the TRC-50DX

Advancements in digital imaging technology have led to higher-resolution retinal imaging and improved capture techniques. The TRC-50DX is designed with advanced sensors that optimize image quality, versatility, and ease of use.

This system supports multimodal fundus imaging, including color, red-free, and fluorescein angiography (FA). The TRC-50DX (Type IA) also offers additional imaging capabilities, such as indocyanine green (ICG¹) and fundus autofluorescence (FAF) for more comprehensive retinal assessments.

¹ Optional filters allow users to customize imaging settings based on specific diagnostic needs.

AMD 60 Male OS FAF

Fundus Autofluorescence (FAF)

Fundus autofluorescence (FAF¹) is a non-invasive imaging technique used to assess the retina by detecting the natural autofluorescence of lipofuscin within the retinal pigment epithelium (RPE).

Specialized FAF filters² are designed to enhance the visualization of lipofuscin deposits, requiring 40% less illumination compared to conventional FAF¹ filters³, improving patient comfort while maintaining high-quality imaging.

AMD 60 Male OD FAF

Enhanced Imaging with Specialized FAF Filters

These FAF filters are designed to function independently of fluorescein or indocyanine green (ICG¹) dye, allowing images to be captured during or after angiography without interference.

¹ FAF and ICG are available only on the TRC-50DX (Type IA) model.

TRC-50DX control panel

User-Friendly Operation

The intuitive touchscreen control panel simplifies operation, allowing the user to focus on patient care. Conveniently positioned adjustment knobs ensure a smooth and comfortable image capture process, enhancing efficiency and ease of use.

Flash settings TRC-50DX

Adjustable Flash Intensity

The system offers 21 levels of flash intensity, adjustable in full or half steps, allowing precise control over image brightness. Soft-touch membrane buttons ensure easy adjustments and are illuminated for visibility in low-light environments.

Light Source: Maximum 300ws Xenon for photography.

Working Distance Indicators

Green alignment dots assist in confirming the correct working distance for precise objective lens alignment. These markers are particularly useful for pre-injection positioning in fluorescein angiography (FA), red-free imaging, and color fundus photography, ensuring accurate and consistent image capture.
