The NW500 delivers sharp and detailed color fundus images, even in varied lighting conditions, and can capture images through pupils as small as 2.0mm.
With automated alignment, focusing, image capture, and eye switching, the NW500 simplifies the imaging process. A single touch controls the entire procedure, ensuring ease of use for all operators.
The NW500 utilizes slit-scan illumination and a rolling shutter mechanism to produce high-quality color fundus images with reduced flare and shadow.
This technology effectively addresses common imaging challenges, enabling clear visualization through small pupils and ensuring sharp, detailed images, regardless of pupil size or lighting conditions. Unlike conventional fundus cameras, the NW500 maintains imaging quality even in cases of miosis.
In peripheral photography mode, the NW500 captures wide field retinal images, creating a panoramic view with an approximately 90 degree angle of coverage and approximately 132.3 degrees at the spherical center of the eye.
