User-Friendly Operation

The CA-800 is designed for ease of use, featuring intuitive onboard software that streamlines image acquisition and analysis. Its 10.1-inch capacitive touchscreen allows for quick navigation, while visual guidance assists with precise alignment and focusing. The system automatically selects the sharpest image, ensuring consistent and accurate results.

Comprehensive Contact Lens Fitting

The CA-800 includes built-in contact lens simulation software with an extensive, customizable database of lenses from leading manufacturers. Its fluorescein imaging system provides detailed visualization of lens position and movement, allowing for precise adjustments. The integrated pupillometer enables accurate pupil size and position measurement under varying lighting conditions, supporting Ortho-K and refractive surgery planning.

Pupillometry, Fluorescein Imaging, and Meibography

The CA-800 is a Placido-based corneal topographer featuring 24 rings that capture up to 6,144 data points for precise axial and instantaneous curvature evaluation.

It is equipped with four infrared LEDs and two white LEDs to perform dynamic and static pupillometry, ensuring accurate pupil size measurements under various lighting conditions. Additionally, eight blue LEDs enable fluorescein imaging and video capture, supporting comprehensive contact lens assessments.

The infrared LED system allows for detailed meibomian gland analysis, assisting in the detection of gland dysfunction and other ocular surface abnormalities.

Rapid and Detailed Corneal Assessment

Corneal Curvature Analysis

The CA-800 provides a detailed evaluation of the anterior corneal surface, offering curvature mapping with optional 3D visualization. It includes keratoconus probability indexing and corneal height mapping for in-depth structural assessment.

Additionally, the system features fluorescein imaging and real-time fluorescein video capture, allowing for precise contact lens fitting and ocular surface evaluation.

Tear Film Assessment Without Invasive Procedures

The CA-800 provides a detailed tear film evaluation using Blink Detection and Tear Breakup Time (TBT) analysis. The Blink Detection feature automatically tracks blink frequency and intervals, offering insight into ocular surface health.

The Tear Breakup Time (TBT) measurement assesses tear film stability, recording the time from blink retention to first breakup and the average breakup duration. A color-coded overlay on video playback visually represents corneal surface quality, making interpretation quick and efficient.

Zernike Analysis for Corneal Aberrations

The CA-800 performs Zernike analysis to identify corneal aberrations and irregularities. It displays curvature mapping for both eyes simultaneously, allowing for easy side-by-side comparison and tracking of changes over time by comparing with previous measurements.

i-Map Software for CA-800

The optional i-Map software allows data acquisition to be handled by support staff, enabling clinicians to review and analyze results remotely. It provides full data manipulation capabilities, enhancing workflow efficiency in clinical settings.
